What a mobility scooter rental costs

Our pricing is simple: a short rental has one flat price, and from day three you pay a daily rate that gets lower the longer you keep the equipment. These are the same numbers our online quote tool uses — what you see here is what you pay for one item.

One thing worth knowing: because the rate drops at seven days, a 7-day rental ($245) costs less than a 6-day rental ($270). If you need the equipment for six days, book seven — you'll save money and have a spare day.

Fees you should know about

We only have two optional fees, and your quote lists them before you confirm anything:

• Same-day delivery: $50. Applies when you book delivery for today.
• Off-hours service: $20 flat. Applies once if your drop-off or pickup falls between 6–9 AM or 5–8 PM.

Book a day or more ahead within regular hours and neither fee applies.

Renting makes sense when you need equipment for a trip, a recovery period, or while you decide what to buy. You skip the upfront cost, you don't have to store or repair anything, and you don't have to sell it later. Renting is also a low-risk way to try a scooter or lift chair at home before committing to a purchase. If you'll need equipment every day for years, buying is usually the better long-term choice — and we're happy to talk it through.

Weekly and monthly rentals

Longer rentals suit snowbirds spending the season in the Valley, people recovering from surgery, families hosting a visiting parent, and anyone waiting on a scooter from the VA or an insurer. Rates drop at 7, 11, 16 and 21 days, and anything over three weeks is $17.50 per day. We deliver to homes and to hotels and resorts across the metro.

Is there a discount for longer rentals?

Yes — the daily rate falls at 7, 11, 16 and 21 days. Two weeks (14 days) is $378; three weeks (21 days) is $367.50.

What's the cheapest way to rent for a month?

Book the full month. Any rental of 21 days or more is $17.50 per day, so 30 days comes to $525.

Does Medicare or insurance pay for rentals?

Rentals are private-pay — we don't bill Medicare, the VA or insurance. Check with your insurer about coverage for purchases.
